He served as the former Joint Secretary of the Association of Indian Universities, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
In recognition of his exceptional achievements, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate (Ph.D.) by Allahabad Agricultural University. His dedication and impact have been acknowledged through prestigious accolades such as the Delhi Ratan Award and being a six-time recipient of Life Achievement Awards.
The Government of India has appointed him for various significant youth-oriented assignments, demonstrating his expertise and influence in this domain. His Some notable appointments include serving as the Chef de Mission for the Non-Aligned Movement Countries Youth Festival (NAMYFEST) in 1985, representing India in the Festival of India in USSR in 1987, leading the South Asian Countries Youth Exchange Program in Japan in 1992 as a Group Leader, and being appointed as the Chef de Mission for the World University Games (UNIVERSLDE) in Beijing, China in 2002.
As the Chairman of the David Development Foundation (DDF) based in New Delhi, he continue to drive initiatives and projects that contribute to societal progress. His educational background includes a master’s degree in English Literature from St. Stephen’s College and a Certificate in Youth Work from the Commonwealth Youth Program.
His extensive experience encompasses various domains, including educational programs, community service, youth development programs, promotion of art and culture, initiatives fostering national integration, communal harmony, and world peace.
